Graduated with a B.A. in English and a minor in Philosophy from James Madison University in 2007. She also holds an M.A. in American Literature from the University of South Carolina. Ms. Dean graduated from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2013 and was admitted to the Virginia State Bar that same year. The following February, Ms. Dean was admitted to practice in federal court in the Eastern District of Virginia. She is a member of the Richmond Bar, the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, the Equality Bar, and the Metro Richmond Women’s Bar Association.
